THE FOUNDATION
Sud Capsule was founded in 1985 in Nocera Inferiore, in the heart of one of the main districts of the Italian canning industry, from the idea of three young partners who decided to develop an activity related to the production and marketing of closure systems/metal caps for glass containers.
1985GROWTH
In 1987, due to the ongoing growth and investments in new technologies, the founder and current company director, Luigi Califano, moved the production to the current factory in Scafati.

Since 2007, Sud Capsule has been part of the Tecnocap group, the world's third largest producer of closure systems/metal caps for the food and beverage industry, and specialises in marketing and distribution logistics services for the products made by the multinational.
2007SUSTAINABLE VISION
Over the last ten years, the company has continued to grow and acquire market shares in Italy and abroad. This growth is linked to a process of specialisation and optimisation of resources aimed at improving the eco-efficiency of its services, in terms of speed and flexibility, to guarantee consistent high standards on all products.
At the same time, Sud Capsule is increasingly committed to strengthening its ties with all its stakeholders and has embarked on the path of integrating Environmental, Social and Governance factors into its sustainable business model.
